Happy 4th of July !!! Amy from Clippie Dips is here today to share a simple patriotic pin...
Happy 4th of July everyone! Today I'm sharing with you a really simple little pin that you can probably whip up within 20 minutes!
Supplies
-felt
-scissors
-pin
-glue gun
First you'll need to cut (3) 4 1/4" x 1" pieces of felt. I chose to use red, white and blue for the holiday.
Then, you're going to overlap the ends of your felt 1/4" and glue them together.
Fold the entire length in half and glue as you go.
Cut slits, about 1/4" apart all the way down the top of the felt strip.
Now, you're going to start at one end an roll it together in a sort of spiral fashion, gluing as you go. (The pin was just to hold it together for the picture!)
Once it's completely rolled and glued, cut a circle out of felt just big enough to cover the back of the flower.
Then, cut 2 little slits into the circle, just big enough to push the pin back through like in the photo below.
Glue it onto the back of your flower.
Let it dry and then you're done! Pin it to your favorite bag or clutch!
Pin it to your shirt! Or Hello Kitty nightgown ;)!
These are so versatile! Have fun with different colors for every occasion!
Amy, this is such a fun pin. I love how simple and how cute it is.
